Jan 2024: Bread Salt Broom Vol. 3 Playlist on Spotify

Feb 2024: Bread, Salt, Broom Vol. 4 Playlist on Spotify

Earlier today we were talking with clients we're helping relocate to Pittsburgh from Los Angeles (you know who you are KD!!).

And out of the blue (for me), the stress of it all (for them)...

packing, staging, packing again, selling, uprooting, sorting, negotiating, trading off, weighing, searching, saving, spending, saying goodbye and hello, asking themselves 'do I have to eat pierogies?' or 'will we get enough vitamin D in this cold grey land?'

struck me like a lightning bolt.

As is so often the case when I'm feeling big emotions, all I could think of was Ethel Merman singing "Everything's Coming Up Roses" from Gypsy, so I sent it to them.  (Whether or not they were actually into it, they indulged me - you two are so generous of spirit!!!)

So then I was struck again, but by the idea kind of ⚡, not the big emotion kind of ⚡.  Spoiler alert: I'm going to make a playlist for Emily and me once a month and share it with you all before we release our newsletter to set the mood, have some fun, and feel whatever feels we need to.  I will happily tell you stories about all these songs or why we chose them, so feel free to email me with questions or, of course, media inquiries.

To further confuse everyone, I'm going to name them after the Bread, Salt, Broom newsletter Vol. #. So although this is actually playlist 1, I'm going to call it Vol. 3, because that's the issue of Bread, Salt, Broom we're about to release. Enjoy!
